Turn customer feedback into a roadmap your customers can actually see

Written by Nick · July 10, 2026 · 2 min read

Most feature requests do not die because they were bad ideas. They die because they landed in a support ticket, got a "thanks, noted!" reply, and were never seen again by anyone who could actually act on them. The customer who asked stops trusting that requests go anywhere, and your team loses the one thing that would have told you what to build next.

Candor's Feedback board exists to close that gap, and the Roadmap exists to prove you followed through.

A board customers can actually use

Feedback items are tagged as a Feature, a Bug, or a General request, and move through statuses from initial triage through to shipped. Customers can upvote requests they care about, which naturally surfaces what actually matters instead of whoever complained loudest or most recently. Your team can reply directly on an item, useful for asking a clarifying question or telling someone the moment it ships, and add internal notes for context that should not go public.

A roadmap that is honest about where things stand

Roadmap items move through Now, Next, Later, and Done columns, each with a quarter and a progress percentage. You choose whether to share it publicly. When you do, customers stop asking "did you even see my request" because they can just look. That single change does more for trust than any canned response ever will.

The traceable line from complaint to shipped feature

The part that actually makes this useful, not just nice to look at, is that a Feedback item can be linked as evidence on an Insight (a pattern your team has noticed), which can define an Opportunity (the problem worth solving), which links to a Solution, often that same Feedback item, that becomes a Roadmap entry. That whole chain, from one customer's offhand request to a shipped feature, stays traceable. Six months later you can still answer "why are we building this" with a real answer, not a guess.

Feedback that goes nowhere trains customers to stop giving it. A board and roadmap they can actually watch move does the opposite.
